We are thrilled to launch our latest video, "Ninh Thai Cooperative: From Regenerative Farming to Sustainable Market Linkages", which highlights the remarkable transformation of the Ninh Thai Safe Vegetables Cooperative in Tuyen Quang province, Vietnam.

This video showcases the profound impact of the "Expanding Regenerative Vegetable Markets through Improved Production and Distribution" project. Implemented in Ham Yen district from March 2024 to May 2025, this vital initiative is co-supported by the DGD and AliSEA, and led by Rikolto. Its core objective is to connect small-scale vegetable farmers with formal supply chains, ensuring better prices and reduced market risks for their produce.

Ninh Thai Cooperative members were composting organic fertilizer using microbial inoculants.

Before the project, Ninh Thai Cooperative faced significant hurdles, from inconsistent production to limited market access. Rikolto, in collaboration with the Tuyen Quang Provincial Agricultural Extension Center and local partners, provided intensive training on sustainable and regenerative farming techniques. This included soil improvement, crop diversification, and on-site organic fertilizer production, which successfully cut input costs by 15%.

Our support also focused on strengthening internal cooperative linkages, establishing collective procurement contracts, and enhancing members' market knowledge and business planning skills. As a result, Ninh Thai Cooperative has expanded its stable buyer network from 10 to over 20, significantly boosting their sales and income stability.

Watch the video to witness how this inclusive business model is not only improving livelihoods but also championing environmental sustainability in rural Vietnam!
