Rikolto is the Esperanto word for ‘harvest’. We want farmers to have a brilliant harvest, and we want to especially harvest great new ideas and solutions to improve our food systems.

2024: Growing partnerships to harvest change

Especially in times like these, with international cooperation under strain, we believe the answer lies in forging even stronger, deeper collaborations and connections. Our 2024 report is a tribute to the power of partnerships: from scaling sustainable rice in Vietnam and Indonesia, over co-creating climate-smart coffee production in Uganda, to championing the right to good food in Honduras. Lasting change can only be built together, and we are grateful for the loyal support of our donors and partners.
